Or, at least, this is part of the test drive. I drove a few more laps after this where I got a bit more aggressive with the driving. I'll do a blog post about this later. Very nice car, I want one. The car is electric. No gas drives the wheels. Gas engine only comes on to generate electricity to power the 400 pounds of batteries in the car. The Volt ships later this year in a limited number of cities and pricing has not been announced yet.
